Although it just performs a couple of different time-related tasks, this program still has a few things going for it. True to its name, the application primarily acts as a stopwatch that can be enabled with a quick click. The rectangular main window isn't crowded with unnecessary buttons and reserves most of its real estate for the clock display, though we wish it could be configured to sit in your system tray. Still, you can run XNote Stopwatch in compact mode to save space and set it as an always-on-top program for added convenience. You won't find multiple skins for sprucing up the rather bland interface, but the program lets you change the color of the clock's background and digits. XNote Stopwatch also offers a simple reminder function and can play MP3 files or launch a specific program when your alarm expires. However, the app only supports onetime alarms and cannot schedule them at regular intervals. This program is unlikely to change anyone's life, but it will be beneficial to anyone who needs a stopwatch on their PC.Publisher's description

The program features both count-up and count-down modes, an alarm with various events, a resizable display with always-on-top mode, system-wide hot keys, time snapping (split/lap time feature), save/load support, time rewinding, and decimals customization. XNote Stopwatch has a digital display similar to real stopwatches and clocks. Moreover, it can be resized to achieve your preferable size of digits and even be switched to a compact state, in which the stopwatch/timer doesn't show controls and stays on top of your desktop.

"Recommended but better if it had more features."
Pros: I've tried about five different alarm programs until I settled on this one. I would recommend it.
- I really like the compact feature.
Cons: - It would be nice if it had a memory setting for the timer's, like a drop down box for various intervals that we could select.
- Also if it had the option for multiple timers, that would be better as well.

"Very versitile and just works every time"
Pros: Serial port control is great. I use it with an IR beam sensor connected to the com port and the stop watch logs the rest !
Works on a factory assembly line diag station.
Cons: Log to Excel would be a nice feature

Pros: * Easy to use;
* Automatically logs snapshots in time (like laps);
* Good price;
* Resizeable screen;
* 1/100th seconds;
* Up to 24 hours;
* Many more features like color, hotkeys, etc. They thought of everything.

"The ultimate stopwatch/timer"
Pros: This is a perfect stopwatch/timer. There is nothing that can be improved. It is brilliant in its simple yet functional design and interface. Software of the year!

Pros: I couldn't ask for more in a stopwatch xp product. Use it for gaming. Love the feature that allows you to pick the sound that will go off at the time you choose. Also does automatic restart if you want it to at the designated time/interval you choose. Brilliant product
Cons: Would not change a thing. Just what I need
