This handy utility makes it easy to find out what time it is in any corner of the globe. We like that World Time by Utech's main window features a prominent map of the world; mousing over it highlights various time zones and lets you browse city names. You can scroll through a drop-down list of prominent cities and states in each zone, and the application will automatically place that information on the new clock. World Time by Utech lets you set up as many clocks as you'd like at once and gives you a few options for customizing their appearance. For instance, you can change the background color, overall size, and font of your timepieces. However, the omission of a tool for setting alarms is a curious oversight. Global businesspersons and frequent travelers likely will find this application a useful pickup.

You can organize international conference calls with ease, or just simply check the time in any part of the world. Put as many clocks onto the computer desktop as you want, or minimize them to the taskbar. Clocks will automatically hide if docked to the edge of the screen for quick access.

The program offers: full real time satellite day/night view of the earth, sunrise/sunset times anywhere in the world - any time in history, resizable World map with about 1000 locations, alarm for any time zone, time machine, a variety of customizable resizable clocks with day/night colors. It runs also on Vista and handles all time zones including those not supplied with Windows. Its time zone database can automatically be updated from within the program. Each license now permits two installations. Version 2.5 now allows you to customize your own World Time 2006 with your company logo and contact details.
