Snowflakes fall on a sleepy New England town in the free Winter Wonderland 3D Animated Wallpaper. It's such a tranquil scene, it almost makes you forget about the program's shortcomings. Almost. To start, you can't customize the wallpaper at all, except to change the size of the image. More worrisome, the program wouldn't work on two of our test computers running Windows 2000. On the bright side, when we did get it working on another PC, it didn't consume many system resources. Also, its registration reminder takes up only a small portion of the beautiful picture. Assuming it works on your machine and you don't mind the default settings, Winter Wonderland Animated Wallpaper is a good way to bring a cozy winter scene into the heart of a busy office.Publisher's description

"pretty but consume way too much resources"
Pros: The falling snow flakes look pretty cool
Cons: It was consuming 40-80% of CPU on a 1.6 GHz computer. After I changed the wall, I can finally move my cursor freely again.
