You can update and back up drivers on your computer with this helpful application, but driver updates are available only from the publisher. WinDriver Ghost's clean and simple interface is well-designed for novices. Finding all installed drivers is accomplished quickly.

You choose to back up the drivers in one of three formats: CAB file, EXE file, or folder set. These backup drivers can only be extracted using the WinDriver Ghost Restore function. This application also installs new drivers, and archives Outlook and IE Favorites. The Update function searches for the latest driver version available for download. However, it checks only one default URL for updates and doesn't allow the user to choose a desired URL. In this 15-day trial version, it includes the Need a Language Translator menu to provides links to Web-translator applications.

Despite the easy-to-understand interface, novice users will still need a visit to the help file. WinDriver Ghost's backup function is quick and useful, but advanced users will dislike the short trial period and URL download limitations.

WinDriver Ghost provides you the easy and fast detection, backup and restore of the entire hardware device drivers currently on your system. With it, you can even find the latest drivers for your hardware and install them onto your computer. Just one or two mouse button clicks, you will have all your hardware devices extracted and backuped to any folder you want. When you reinstall or upgrade your system, you can restore them by clicking a button, after reboot once, all the drivers will be installed and will function well. Also you may choose to backup a certain driver or the entire drivers to an EXE automatic installer. If you have a hardware that is troublesome, just remove it with the software.

It is especially useful to those who have lost his Driver Disk or Driver CD. WinDriver Ghost is able to clone the installation EXE package. This release adds support for Microsoft Windows 8 x64 and x86. Compatible with other versions of Microsoft Windows
