  We synchronize contacts between SQL Server and Outlook. We also use it for doing mass-emailing using SQL views and importing into Outlook.

  It does indeed connect (sometimes) to Outlook.

  I made the mistake of shelling out $100 for this software. Impossibly byzantine setup. Completely non-intuitive. There is no guided setup/wizard, nor is there a default setup that you can then customize. Basically, this software is only half-written--you, the user, write the other half, and good luck with that. Help file is jibberish and singularly un-HELPful. Took me 4 days to get it set up, and I'm pretty tech/db-savvy. Even after setup, it hangs (and crashes Outlook) constantly and inconsistently. Forget Autosync--after Autosyncing, it inexplicably deletes all records from the connected db. You have to manually sync each folder. You really NEED to have access to all Outlook/Exchange fields to attempt this software; otherwise, the built-in MS/ODBC/Office connectivity works WAY better. (Please note that the favorable reviews are 8 years old.)

  Pros

  This solved our sync problems. <p>We can see customers registering in mySQL (using Web App) in Exchange public Folders! Great!

  It's client based, NT service will be better for MS Exchange environment.
