If you're overwhelmed by information you've pulled from the Web, WebPicker may make your life easier. It merges a tabbed IE-based browser and a data organizer. The latter stores data in a folder tree similar to the one in Windows Explorer. The interface impressed us with its simplicity. Just select a fragment on the Web page and drag it to the tree panel, as if you were placing it in a folder. WebPicker can handle just about anything the Web serves up, including images, Flash, and videos. The program lets you edit collected snippets by cutting irrelevant text, adding comments, and highlighting important passages. To send data to people who don't have WebPicker installed, you can save books as stand-alone executables. This straightforward, well-designed utility will appeal to students, researchers, and anyone else who mines the Web for data.Publisher's description
From SuperLogix :WebPicker is a Windows application that helps you collect, manage, and distribute Web information while you surf the Internet. Each time you find a Web page, or a portion of a page, that you wish to keep for future reference, simply save it to the WebPicker library. With a single click, you save all of the images, text, tables, Java applets, videos, Flash files, and other Web page elements.
