Editors' reviewSo what will it be today, a T-shirt or an overcoat? With WeatherBug, you'll always know. This handy little program runs quietly in the system tray, displaying the current temperature and flashing when alerts come in from the National Weather Service. Double-clicking the tray icon calls up an easy-to-read display of temperature, wind, and humidity. Other tabs provide forecasts, weather maps, and news. On the downside, it only covers the United States. It also displays ads, though they usually appear within the application window. We can't guarantee you won't get the odd pop-up when the app is in focus, but the publisher claims you won't see any ads with the program minimized. Aside from those drawbacks, WeatherBug is a great way to keep from getting caught out in the rain.

WeatherBug uses less memory than before.
