From WeatherBug :WeatherBug is a free weather program that streams real-time weather conditions directly to PC Users' desktops. Weather data is provided by AWS WeatherNet - a network of 7,000 weather stations across the United States. Upon registration, users receive real-time weather information from the nearest WeatherNet weather station, forecasts, travelers forecasts, radar, storm alerts, weather cam, and community features. When the program is minimized, it displays the outdoor temperature in the Taskbar. WeatherBug requires minimal system resources and does not contain any adware or spyware.
