This updated weather application offers a smorgasbord of weather-related data. Once you've provided a zip code or city, Weather Watcher's easy-to-use interface displays detailed weather information, including forecasts, temperature, and expected highs and lows. You can add as many locations as you'd like and switch among them using the system-tray icon.
Automatic updates keep you abreast of the current wind speed, dew point, humidity, barometric pressure, and moon phases. You can display your location's current weather conditions by mousing over the temperature readout in your system tray. Weather Watcher provides extensive customizations, measurement conversions, and numerous maps from all over the globe, and a log for quick reference. You can view weather data with hourly and daily forecasts, and create a keyword list to filter severe weather alerts.
The application also features a wallpaper changer for your desktop using several file formats, including JPEG, GIF, BMP, and HTML. Our only serious complaint is its hefty 19MB memory usage. Overall, though, this informative, customizable program can benefit a wide range of users, and it's free to boot. This is a top pick.

Weather Watcher is a desktop weather station that resides in the system tray and automatically updates the weather at a specified interval of time. Weather Watcher allows you to receive weather updates from almost any city in the world. It gives you the current forecast, including the temperature, a "feels-like" temperature, dew point, humidity, wind, visibility, pressure, and the UV index value. It can also give you a 10-day forecast that includes the general conditions, temperature highs and lows, and expected UV penetration. The weather measurements can be displayed in metric or English units. The latest version features an improved uninstaller, and bug fixes.

"Worked, than couldnt find server."
Pros: Tells you the weather, no spyware, nicest one i found.
Cons: Just started to get server errors one day.

"Simple and effective a prog that says no spyware or adware and means it how rare"
Pros: this offers weather all accross the world to everyone no virus no adware no popups no spyware no catch!
Cons: has this annoying man with a thunderbolt logo bit cheesy but i can live with that

"Everything You Want In A Weather Program"
Pros: I have owned several weather programs in the past, including the popular Weather Channel, Weather Bug... but this program is by far the very best of them all. First off it is a very small program that requires little storage and RAM Resource. Secondly, it does not crowd its programming with sponsor sites. Thirdly, it does not have hidden spyware. Forthly, it has a desktop weather map that constantly refreshes with Weather.com...And finally, it's FREE! Mike Singer was so kind as to create this software and continues to constantly update it (just received an update today actually). If you're so inclined, as I was when I first downloaded it, you can make a donation to Mike by way of Pay Pal. I donated $15. Thanks for the great program Mike!
Cons: The only thing that I don't like is the fact that the displays are so small. The weather box simply needs to be increased in size.
