This updated weather application offers a smorgasbord of weather-related data. Once you've provided a zip code or city, Weather Watcher Live's easy-to-use interface displays detailed weather information, including forecasts, temperature, and expected highs and lows. You can add as many locations as you'd like and switch among them using the system-tray icon.
Automatic updates keep you abreast of the current wind speed, dew point, humidity, barometric pressure, and moon phases. You can display your location's current weather conditions by mousing over the temperature readout in your system tray. Weather Watcher Live provides extensive customizations, measurement conversions, and numerous maps from all over the globe, and a log for quick reference. You can view weather data with hourly and daily forecasts, and create a keyword list to filter severe weather alerts.
The application also features a wallpaper changer for your desktop using several file formats, including JPEG, GIF, BMP, and HTML. Our only serious complaint is its hefty 19MB memory usage. Overall, though, this informative, customizable program can benefit a wide range of users, and it's free to boot. This is a top pick.

Pros: Easy to use , plenty more information if you need it . Because of where we live , there is a definate mini climate ; the nearest weather station is about 50 kilometres away and on the coast so only fairly accurate .
Cons: Cannot get a close enough weather station .
Summary: Overall an excellent effort - I like it .
With another couple of options I look at I then get a pretty good idea of what could be happening in our inland area . -

"Good download,advise anyone who lives in areas"
Pros: I already had the download, I thought this was a newer version, but it all looks the same. I like it alot and it has been handy this summer especialy, storm season,and if you are planning on outside activities.....
Cons: My only complaint is that when I bring up Maps,and go to my state,it's always late on the map timing,wen I hit update, it stays the same.always more than an hour off on the maps time, it doesn't show if its est or cst etc.....

Pros: Great interface. All the info you would want from weather to air to travel etc.
Cons: The only minor issue is that when you try to open Weather Live window, it opens for a few seconds, then closes. You must open it again before it stays open.
