Soothing music and pretty visuals help make the free Water Illusion Lite a mostly nice choice. A rotation of 10 water-related nature scenes cycles by, and you can download more from the developer's site. The background scenes and the moving water look good (if you make sure to set the effect to a slower speed), but the precipitation isn't convincing. You can apply transition effects, determine image interval, adjust screen resolution, and disable the music, although we experienced some kinks with the audio. The last image is a promotion for the full version of the screensaver. If you enjoy natural scenery and can't pay for a screensaver, we certainly think Water Illusion Lite is worth trying.

  Pros: Nice pictures, I guess

  "This Illusion did not rock my world"

  Pros: OK, sounds of water have always been soothing and relaxing to me.

  Cons: The music such as it was, Sucked! Lose that so called music and I'd try it again
