CNET Editors' review
This wallpaper-sequencing utility has its fair share of pluses, though we encountered a troubling stability issue. Among this app's strengths is the convenient and powerful user interface, which offers hot keys for quickly changing the wallpaper or adding a folder of images. Conditional display options let you specify, for example, that images narrower than 40 pixels should be tiled over the desktop. Other features hide desktop icons and make the Taskbar semitransparent. The program also comes with a monthly calendar and a skinnable clock. Though Wallpaper Sequencer Ultra doesn't take much memory, we encountered a stability problem on one of our test machines, where the configuration window consistently crashed. However, on another computer, we had no problem. We do like the 60-day trial period, which is one of the more generous demos we've seen. Those in search of a wallpaper manager should give Wallpaper Sequencer a try, but we recommend you thoroughly test it before buying.Publisher's Description
From Draxysoft:
Wallpaper Sequencer Ultra is a new, more powerful wallpaper manager with expanded capabilities, such as desktop clock skins of various types. Now you can choose between the traditional and digital looks of the time keeping devices on your desktop. Plus, you don't worry about wallpaper sizes, formats and resolutions - the program fits everything automatically. Add Active Desktop support and Taskbar transparency to that, too.
Version 4.5 partially fixes problem with DEP, installer requires admin rights for trial users, and fixes bug when the Clocks lost on top status.
