CNET Editors' review
If you're a fan of minimalist, nonintrusive software, WackGet is the download manager for you. Like its big brothers, WackGet organizes multiple downloads, allows you to pause and resume transfers, and can try to resume broken ones. WackGet integrates with Microsoft Explorer, allowing you to add a file to the download queue by simply clicking a link. However, this feature didn't work well in our tests (for instance, it failed to process Download.com links). On the downside, WackGet can't speed up downloads by finding mirrored files and retrieving them in multiple streams--a pretty common feature nowadays--nor does it have a scheduler. Still, WackGet is free and simple and should attract users with basic download needs.Publisher's Description

It doesn't tax system resources, doesn't require a lot of screen real estate, and doesn't include extraneous features. "Rubbish product."
Version: WackGet 1.2.2
Pros
Was recommended by Easynews and guess what, it can't download from Easynews.
Cons
This product is recommended by Easynews and on using it, all links keep failing. No support available to assist in explaining failures.
Summary
I'm sure it works well, but the moment you have a problem, you're on your own. Easynews users, please look elsewhere.

"Small download manager"
Version: WackGet 1.2.2
Pros
Easy to use, quick integration with browser extensions
Cons
Unable to set the referrer or the output filename (Fails if the URL's "filename" contains characters not valid for windows).
Summary
Really good to make a quick download queue.

"Nice app that can be hacked a bit"
Version: WackGet 1.2.2
Pros
I like that it uses WGET, has a small footprint, & has a simple interface
Cons
I don't like it's lack of built in functionality w/ other browsers like firefox & opera. It is tweakable using flashgot plugin though, & opera can be tweaked to use it as well.

I like this software because, real good working and free registration.
Cons
Very simple

"It's not really the best"
Version: WackGet 1.2.2
Pros
It's not a resource hog unlike other dl managers. The features they claim are true. You can resume broken downloads and queue multiple files with this program.
Cons
But there are some things they didn't mention: No browser integration, multi-threaded download. If you want these features get free download manager instead.
