"What have Ipswitch done? I'm going to find something else!"
Cons: Far too fussy. Loads of features I don't need, yet the simple ability to set the local and remote sides to log in to exactly what I want seems to be gone.
My old PC was loaded with WS_FTP LE and I loved it. Imagine my shock when I couldn't load it onto my new machine. I have had the evaluation version of WS_FTP Home loaded for 28 days, and I am now looking for a different method of managing my sites. I don't mind paying for an FTP utility, but this one is bloated and doesn't serve my needs.

"Great product - easy to use!"
Pros: I've used this product for years, and have never had any problems. It uses a very easy, almost "instinctive" interface, and is very easy to customize. I've never had any problems downloading or uploading anything.
Cons: No "cons" - I love this product!

Cons: I agree with many. Why stop giving away the LE version. The last person complained that so many want stuff free. Yes! Some of us are not rich. In any case, the website states that many "home" users were begging for new features. Really? Just about every review I've read here says that they like the LE version and was happy with it. I was. I use the program to upload my personal website. All I ever do is upload files. That's it. I don't need multiple methods of doing one thing, tons of configuration menus, etc.
I understand the menus they crated for the new version, however, it was a waste of coding in my opinion. All I need is an FTP program that can let me upload my files, cmod them, and that's it.
Besides, how was it hurting by offering the LE version? The truth? It wasn't. They just added a cramped up GUI with loads of bells and whistles so they can charge you for it, then say that you are paying for all of the new features. As stated before, many didn't want them.
If a program is worth it, I'm more than happy to pay for it. However, this is not one of them. I'll stick with my free FTP programs.

Pros: My work is related to web hosting, Among many other softwares, it is the best!
Stable, and more functionality!
Cons: I think that IPSwitch magnify the price a bit!
