WMI Asset Logger is an automated utility that queries the computers in your domain and returns valuable asset information. WMI Asset Logger can push WMI to individual systems or in mass rollouts to systems that qualify. The installation is passive and does not actually occur until the PC is rebooted and logged on. Once a user logs on to the system, the installation runs silently so there is no interference from the user. There's no need to open results in Excel or Word to print. Dump directly to Microsoft Excel 97, 2000, or XP. Copy or replicate the included database to your IIS servers after a scan to add Web-based searchable results. Scan a specific list of systems without having to muddle through an expansive list of computers in the Network Neighborhood.Developer Changes:This is a utility for inventorying all your computer assets. It is a fully automated network scanning utility that requires no client-side installations, no messy login scripts to process, and causes no interference with the client systems being scanned. This software utilizes the Microsoft Management Instrumentation interface to query systems and has the ability to scan Windows 98/ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP workstations and servers. WMI Asset Logger will also use remote registry as a fallback method to query the systems so as much information as possible can be gathered. The program can also use your SMTP server to send the results to up to 50 e-mail addresses.
