CNET Editors' review
Viigo has certainly matured since its early days. While it now grabs weather, financial news, flight status, and sports scores in addition to your news and blog feeds, it's still, at its core, the fastest, most complete RSS reader for BlackBerry. To users' eternal benefit, Viigo makes finding, subscribing to, and adding your own newsfeeds extremely simple with a long list of presets, browsable categories, and a way to add favorite RSS URLs, even from aggregators.
The extra channels to track the weather, flights, and stocks are bonuses, and a testament to the extensibility of Viigo's original engine. Although not every channel works flawlessly (the audio podcast channel hasn't yet been released, for instance, and the politics channel is currently limited to the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Germany) the strength of Viigo's RSS reader absolves for the peccadilloes of a work in progress.

"Looks nice, but just a few things missing."
Version: Viigo for BlackBerry 3.1.324
Pros
Looks nice, smooth icons and the ability to post to twitter. Weather updates, flights etc.
Cons
Some text shows up vertically, which makes feeds sometimes worthless. I was teased by a "post to facebook" icon at the bottom of each article only to be prompt to download an app on my PC facebook page. The "go to App" icon leads you to an error.
Summary
I really wanted to like this app as an RSS reader that I can share to facebook. I love the overall look of the app, but there too many missing links and at times, poor text layout. I have deleted the app. I hope to check back and find that all of these issues have been fixed soon.

"ran down my battery, overheated the phone."
Version: Viigo for BlackBerry 3.1.324
Pros
very interesting configurable access to information, the concept is great.
Cons
It made my blackberry Tour overheat and run down the battery very quickly, even when I actively closed the program before putting the phone away (if I didn't, the overheating would be even worse). My phone couldn't last 1 day with a full charge.
Summary
When the full version is out, when it's out of Beta, I'll try it again.

"Good format, But...."
Version: Viigo for BlackBerry 3.1.324
Pros
Easy to use.
Cons
The advertisment said it provided "Markets and Stock" information. Unfortunately that was the only reason I downloaded. The software does not have that category.

"Good Idea, Bad Execution"
Version: Viigo for BlackBerry 3.1.324
Pros
Looks good. I especially like the weather feeds and the ability to track flights and packages.
Cons
Unable to organize, customise or sort feeds according to the users requirements. Can be slow at times. No indication on home page on which services have new entries. Some feeds, like sports, can be out-of-date. Minimal help information.
Summary
Contrary to what CNET believes, the RSS reader is weak, especially for a product that is up to Version 3. You cannot organize or customize the sorting of the feeds to meet your requirements - feeds are sorted alphabetically. If you have a lot of feeds, it can be a pain to find feeds with new entries - would be useful if feeds with entries or no new entries are moved to the bottom. The Special Views in News and RSS is at the bottom of the list - it should be at the top, or least give the user the option to move it to the top.
Also, you cannot customize each feed in terms of number of entries and time in between updates. There is one global setting that applies to all feeds. Though the weather feeds update each time you check those feeds.
Shortcut support is minimal. Most actions require the use of the Menu key. Actions such as Delete Prior or Mark Prior as Read should have a shortcut. Would also be nice if Delete Prior and Mark Prior could be automated.
No built in help feature.
Great idea but the execution leaves much to desire. It feels more like a Version 1 of a product than a version 3.
