VideoInspector helps you to find out why some video files don't work correctly on your system (no sound, no video). It identifies the codec (coder-decoder like DivX) required to play a specific file. VideoInspector can also list all the codecs installed on your system, burn your video files on a CD/DVD (requires VSO's CopyToDVD), export the result in a text or HTML file, and process multiple files at the same time (batch processing). VideoInspector is available in more than 12 languages and gives access to an interactive on-line help.

Version: VideoInspector 2.2.2.121

"Still above average."

Pros: I use it to verify discs if they won't copy right.

Cons: It still does not recognize some disc formats.

Summary: Its still useful. When it has trouble reading a disc, then I know that its one of those exceptions to the rules for copying & I change my process appropriately.

"videoinspector_lite.exe infected!"

Pros: I immediately unistalled it after Malwarebytes' found one file infected so I can not say any positive comments.

Cons: videoinspector_lite.exe infected!

Summary: Scanned with malwarebytes' after installatrion and and found videoinspector_lite.exe infected!

"Very very nice"

Pros: I like that its fast, free and has a good way
of showing its results.

Cons: I cannot tell you about all files--and Gspot still "knows" a little
more
