From DarkStar Communications :Check the current status of any Ventrilo server directly from any Web browser that supports OpenSearch (FireFox, IE7 or higher, Google Chrome, and others). This plugin accepts the typical format host:port (ie. v01.darkstarllc.com:1234), and displays all channels, users, and other useful information about a Ventrilo server's current status (regardless of who the host is). After the search, code for an applet is generated, giving you the option to place the current server's status on a Web site should you choose to do so.
The Ventrilo server status plugin is installed by simply moving VentriloStatus.xml into your browser's plugin directory (as explained in readmyfirst.txt), and then restarting your browser. After this time, the status of your Ventrilo server can be checked by using the search box in your browser's top right corner on the drop-down menu (or removed at any date by choosing "Manage Search Engines" on the same menu).

"Great plugin, does what it should."
Pros: This definitely shows the status of a Ventrilo server from a web browser search bar, not sure what else it could do to be better.
Cons: Not sure what else this could do to be better, it's a very simple piece of software.
