From Cedrick Collomb :Ever had such an annoying message given by Windows: Cannot delete file: Access is denied. There has been a sharing violation. The source or destination file may be in use or the file is in use by another program or user. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use. Unlocker is the solution. Unlocker is an Explorer extension that allows you with a simple right-click of the mouse on a file or folder to get rid of error message such as error deleting file or folder, cannot delete folder: it is used by another person or program.

Version: Unlocker 1.8.6
Pros: Low overhead, does it's job, seems to be well written. UI incorporation is a nice touch.
Cons: When I installed it, zonealarm warned me it was trying to set itself up to monitor user input (which means it could act as a keylogger). It also attempted to connect to the internet everytime I use it. I don't know why it would need that, and disabling it didn't effect peformance.
A bit of research on the ip: it's warcry.com; That's a bit odd.

Pros: Great idea if it had worked!
Cons: Attempted to unlock & delete a file in WinXP Explorer and it caused computer to crash. At that time had Firefox open and lost bookmarks & settings, then spent 1 hour restoring.
Also on the author's website there is no link for comments, user reviews, or a forum.

"HIT DELETE ONCE AND BOOM.. GENIUS"
Pros: well everything, i used it once to delete this folder within a folder within a folder that had them damn cannot find source/cannot find path blah blah blah
Cons: i have no complaints. it was better than booting safe mode/rename folder/transfer folder/ i just wish i new what freaking commands he was using..

Pros: It did unlock the program I wanted without any nasty consequences to the overall machine software. Recommended. Easy to use also.
Cons: A bit scary at first but did exactly what it was supposed to do.
