Simpler to use than its competitors, Ultra Virtual Desktop is effective, but it doesn't always play well with Windows XP. The program enables you to create up to 10 desktops on one computer. The interface is limited to a menu that pops up from the system tray. You can switch among desktops by pressing Ctrl and a number key. Ultra Virtual Desktop's resource footprint is reasonable (8MB of RAM) and it doesn't slow performance, but on Windows XP the program crashed when we tried to access Settings. Busy office workers may well find Ultra Virtual Desktop a welcome, low-overhead way to expand their work spaces.Publisher's description

Cons: after clicking on the downloaded file, 2 file was detected as virus by mcafee and automatically deleted. dont try to install if you have no antivirus.

Cons: Will not install on XP Pro. Even tried to install the files it was looking for myself with no luck. Error message: Output folder: C:\WINDOWS\system32
