Easy to use. Simple to create, alter or fix any GIF image that's not co-operating.

Summary
I have created plenty of workable GIF images for friends, web pages, businesses and even created a few for Windows Live Messenger's. Once you come up with a game plan, you can set your idea into motion, by simply using this program. You can even save your work in a recognizable format only known to this program, so if you have to change, alter, slow down or speed up the image, no need to recreate it, just open the saved UGA file! This is my second Ulead program and they're both inner locked with each other for fast editing. Everyone's experiences with this program is different. The only way for you to decide is, get the trial and decide for yourself. Personally, it's well worth it but, I'm just another person posting "his" own review of this program. Ulead GIF Animator ROCKS!

"Does Exactly What It Says It Will Do. Nothing More."

Easy to use, has some decent features. Gives you an east-to-use interface wizard that pretty much walks you through making a GIF file.

Cost is a bit high for what you're getting. Could use more features for the price. The wizard is clunky and out dated. Files created are quite large.
Summary
If I were you, I'd download the demo and see if it does everything you want before paying the money. If you absolutely REFUSE to buy an Adobe product then ULEAD makes plenty of products that can assist you in your photographic endeavors. I would, however, source other options before pulling the trigger on this as I'm sure there are plenty of free, feature rich, editors that would walk circles around this.

With $50 you can not have such a good program as this. Lots of effects and easy to use. It took me only 10 minutes to make a Gif even though i've never used it before.
works great. For the people who are having ploblem with crashing go in to run box of start menu and type in regsvr32 /U 3ivxDSEncoder.ax and that should fix the ploblem.

"Made for XP doesn't play well with others"

If this program lived up to half its hype I would have purchased it in a nanosecond - but I couldn't even evaluate it since it crashes after install. A quick check at the website shows that it was written for XP, patches are available, they are difficult to find and don't work. What a waste of time. I won't be considering this company's other products either after this experience.

"Unusable program"

Found program impossible to use, kept getting error messages of canvas must be between 1-2000. Didn't get any feed back from tech support on how to fix this. Because of this error message I can't inport any photo to create a GIF file
