Although we appreciate this screensaver's strong feature set, the demo offers too few pictures to keep most users interested. In theory, USA Vol. 2 Screensaver features a number of shots of famous American buildings and natural wonders. Unfortunately, the demo only lets you view a measly three images, which are of mediocre quality. You'll see the New York City and Washington D.C skylines at dusk, as well as a nature scene that appears to feature Mt. Ranier. And if the small image library wasn't bad enough, you'll be even more annoyed to learn the nag screen virtually obscures one of the pictures. Still, if you have your own travel photos, you can add them to the mix, as well as replace the cheesy default MIDI music with your own tunes. The program also allows you to determine the image interval, tweek the speed and appearance of the transition effects, and resize shots. The registered version of USA Vol. 2 Screensaver might make an appealing pick for travel buffs, but this demo offers too little for us to truly evaluate its potential or endorse it.
