The latest version of Webroot Spy Sweeper detects Apropos in ttfman.exe. "Apropos generally propagates itself using dialog boxes, various social engineering methods, or through a java scripting error. Usually adware and BHOs are bundled with various, free software programs."

I uninstalled it ten minutes after installing it. It doesn't do what it claims it can do, at least not intuitively anyway. To hard to manage with it.

In my opinion this is the best font viewer current available. I cann't understand why "Kevin" give it such a bad rating. I'm sure that Typograf is not the reason for his mistake. He recomment printer apprentice - but this is an old program (in my opinion).

Summary
I finally decided to do something about all those fonts in my font folder. Typograf let me create a 3,500+ database of fonts on a CD, create several 'font groups' that contain special fonts (e.g. - those I use to make cards, fancy scripts). I only use those font groups when I need them. My font folder now has less than 100 fonts .. loads faster, more efficient. Typograf has a nice preview, so I know what the font looks like. The only thing I wish it had: when you install a new program, sometimes it shoves its own fonts into the font folder. I wish the program would keep track of fonts newly added to the font folder. Stable program. Recommend it. (PS - It also has a section about the history of typography!)
