CNET Editors' review
Trilix is a basic peer-to-peer file-sharing application that allows users to access three of the most popular P2P networks. There's nothing about Trilix that gives it a serious edge over other P2P clients, but it works just fine if you need a straightforward way to do some file sharing.
The program's interface is plain and intuitive, with a design similar to that of many other file-sharing programs we've seen. Trilix's major features--the library, search, transfers, and so-on--are arranged in easily-accessed tabs. The search interface is in the standard P2P style, with search options in a pane on the left and the results appearing in a pane on the right. Trilix allows users to access Gnutella, Gnutella 2, and eDonkey, three popular P2P networks that contain plenty of movies, music, and other types of media. Trilix does lose points for not having a Help file; although it's pretty intuitive, users that are new to file-sharing clients may have some questions about how the program works. The program does provide a Basic mode and Power mode, the latter of which has more search options, so users can choose the level they're most comfortable using. Overall, we like Trilix quite a bit; it's nothing to write home about, but it's easy to use, and we had no trouble locating and downloading files on its available networks.
Trilix is free. It installs a desktop icon without asking but uninstalls cleanly. We recommend this program to all users.
Publisher's Description
From CitrixWire:
Trilix is a comfortable and elegant file sharing system for Windows that helps you find and download any file-type (like .mp3, ogg, wma, wmf, wav, mpg, mpeg, mov, avi, asf, jpg, gif, rm, htm, html, txt, swf, doc) found on most trendy networks. By having access to more networks means access to a larger diversity of users. Every search is shown in a separate window thus the search results will not be overwritten. You will have mp3's, pictures and movies previews directly from search panel. Another feature of Trilix is that identifies and repairs corrupted files before the download finishes. Also, the program allows you to share files with millions of users and give out your exceptional content to the entire earth without having a Web site.

"Who stole this from who?"
Version: Trilix 3.3.2
Pros
see Crux
Cons
This goes beyond "spinoff". When I installed Trilix and pulled it up, I had my last search results from Crux in front of me! I don't know who stole from who, I just happened to install Crux first. Maybe they're even the same people who thought they might double distribution if they copied it and gave it another name. Oh yeah, the border color is different.

"IT HANGS FREQUENTLY"
Version: Trilix 3.3
Pros
I like it because it doesn't required JAVA and it worked. But I will try to find another program than this one.
Cons
I hate it because it often hangs. There is nothing I can do except to end it's task by pressing ctrl alt del. I hate it when it hangs and you will too.
