Screensavers are eye candy, and this one is no exception. A freeware program that cycles though 21 pictures of young Japanese women, it falls into a long tradition of pinup girls. However, the image quality often leaves much to be desired, either because of photos with low resolution or JPEG overcompression. The screensaver itself offers a decent feature set, allowing a user to control the interval between images, and change transition effects, image size, and background (the default one doesn't match the images very well, we found). There are a few special effects, such as the ability to turn on sepia-tone coloring. Any of the pictures can be selected as a desktop image. The program triggers an Internet Explorer shopping toolbar, so be careful during installation if you don't want this component on your machine. However, if you're looking for something in this vein, this free screensaver could add some spice to your desktop.
