This innovative, polished game lets you use your knowledge of boxing trivia to pummel your opponent into submission, although the demo restriction somewhat disappointss. In Title Bout Boxing Quiz, you square off against the computer or another human in a race to correctly answer trivia questions. The questions range from rather easy to near impossible, with harder ones netting you more points. Whenever you land a jab, an uppercut, or a combo, your animated fighter will put a beating on your opponent. This game's detailed, high-quality graphics were much better than we intially expected, and the sounds recall the atmosphere inside a live boxing arena. You can disable both the sound effects and the intro music, and you can choose from more than 20 computerized opponents of varying skill levels. Unfortunately, the demo limits you to only 50 questions and a one-round match, so most users will probably get all they can out of the demo in a handful of plays. Nevertheless, folks with an encyclopedic knowledge of boxing will likely enjoy this game's challenge.Publisher's description
From OOTP Developments :Part graphical-boxing game and part trivia game, Title Bout Boxing Quiz matches you against either a live opponent or one of 21 computer opponents. Use boxing trivia questions to throw punches and score points and watch as your own screen fighter lands blows or misses them. Win the fight by knockout or go the distance for a decision win, all the while becoming a boxing historian as you play. 1,000 questions are included, each one with background information to the answer, making this game a "Boxing Encyclopedia." You'll square off against trial horses and champions, sluggers and pure boxers. A Vanity board in the form of rankings allows you to follow your progress on the way to becoming champion.
