Tiny Thief is a medieval-themed puzzle game that pits your character against the domineering palace guards in a test of wits. As you work your way through the levels of this game, you'll have to come up with more and more inventive ways of accomplishing your objectives without being seen.
Cartoon instructions: At the beginning of each level, you'll see a few comic-book-style images that give you the general idea of what your objective will be in that scene. They tend to give you just enough information without taking you through everything step by step, and they're pretty cute, too.
Layers of challenges: In addition to your main objective in each level, you can also earn extra points by finding your pet in every scene and by uncovering other hidden objects. Of course, the longer you stay in any level, the better the chances that the guard will see you, and you'll have to start over, so you'll always have to weigh the risks when you make your decisions about what to search for and what to leave without.
Pay for new episodes: This app is free, but once you've played through the initial levels of the first episode, you'll have to pay to continue your adventure. You can purchase new episodes individually for $1.99, or you can opt for a pack of three for $4.99.
Tiny Thief is a fun and engaging game, with puzzles that are challenging enough, but that won't generally leave you scratching your head for hours on end. And since it's free to play through the first episode, there's no reason not to download it and see if it's a good distraction for you.
