TimeLeft tries to give users every conceivable time-telling device they could want. With a variety of options, this is an impressive program with a simple interface that users will love.
This free program imbeds itself into your desktop tray and provides a wizard once clicked on. Here, users can select between setting a clock, a stopwatch, a reminder, an auction watch, a timer or a sticky note. Each option opens to an intuitive screen that allows for quick and easy setting. The programs appear on the desktop in various forms and colors, which can be arranged to your liking.
Extra steps like the online auction countdown clock were very impressive, but one particular issue kept us from being blown away. Primarily, the clocks cannot have their shape, size or colors adjusted, which some users may find troublesome. However, thanks to this program's ease and overall amazing breadth, we still give users the recommendation to download TimeLeft if they are searching for an all-purpose clock program.

From NesterSoft :TimeLeft is a clock (also Windows tray clock replacement), countdown, Web countdown, work days and work hours countdown, reminder (including Moon phase reminder), alarm clock, stopwatch, timer, desktop sticker, eBay auction watch, and time synchronization utility. TimeLeft uses Winamp skins to show digits and text. Reminder offers virtually endless customization options, it can alert you at a specific moment or run periodically, remind you before a specified event or keep on reminding you after it.
The reminder can show a message, play music, open a link or document, or shut down your PC. The countdown feature lives on your desktop and shows the amount of time left until (or that's passed since) the specified event. Watching the seconds ticking away it makes some glad event so much closer. You also can put your countdown on a Web page. Version 3.44.1 is a bug fixing release.

Pros: simple to use
Cons: With Free version you can post only one item on auction watch.

Version: TimeLeft 3.44.1
Pros: I used payed version of TimeLeft for a few years and I like it in general. But it is buggy sometimes and lacks of usability. I switched to GTD Timer (you can find it here as well as my review) and very happy with it.
Cons: Works well enough but GTD Timer is much better
