Publisher's description
From Nonlinear Ideas :Time Tracker allows you to manage how time is spent on your projects. It records when you start, when you stop, and what you worked on, down to the second. It has extensive reporting capabilities, allowing you to focus on a specific project, task, or time period. Reports can be generated in Excel, HTML, or CSV formats. The interface is designed to be simple and intuitive, while the program has a large number of features that are easy to access. Time Tracker can automatically stop/restart, record the name of every program you use (for proof of work), and even operate in "stealth" mode to record what is happening on your computer when you are not there. All these features are easily configurable. Time Tracker even allows you to track the monetary value of the services you have provided.

Version: Time Tracker 2.2
Pros: I agree with everyone else that this little program is hassle-free, does its job well.
Cons: I gave it only four stars because the interface is so ugly. Also, I doubt if I will ever give any task timer five stars until I find one that does what Window Watch (Macintosh) used to do: keep track of work on multiple individual files by logging keystrokes on each file, meaning the user didn't have to do eternal switching of tasks and starting and stopping. Don't know why that program disappeared, it was a jewel, and I still hope someone will do one like it for Windows. The only one I've been able to find costs $700!
