From Doghouse Online:

Open "Theme Checker" press the button "Pick a Theme". Then chose a .rsrc file. Use the check list or the menus to check all the different parts of your theme. to get a closer look at you theme use the "Eye Glass". after your theme looks perfect then press the Tab "Preview" type in the name of your theme and choose which preview you wish to use and press the "OK" button. Make sure the "caps lock" is on. Then hold down (shift -open apple - 4). Move your mouse over the preview and click. There you go easy isn't it.
