"Does not install and nearly IMPOSSIBLE to uninstall"
Pros: I have nothing good to say.
Cons: The download did not work. The partially installed software is on my hard drive and I have no access to remove the files. The WISE uninstall says there's aa missing INSTALL.LOG. That anything would be placed on my hard drive that I can't disgusts me.

Pros: what I like is that i can zoom in on my area where I live.
Cons: so far I see nothing i don't like.

"Warning: Difficult to uninstall, behaves like a virus!"
Pros: The app is a program that resides in your system tray & will show the current temperature.Click on the system tray icon & pull up a window that offers other more detailed weather/traffic info.The app will supposedly warn you of dangerous weather.
Cons: THIS PRODUCT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO UNINSTALL!
The windows uninstall procedure for this app will NOT be successful on a Windows Vista system and personally, it reminds of a virus I cannot get rid of.
Where are the other 215 reviews???Summary: I tried this product several years ago on a Win XP machine. It was difficult to uninstall then and nothing has changed. Version: The Weather Channel Desktop 6.0.0.10
"Great to have ready all the time"
Pros: I love this Weather Desktop, it let me know bad weather and good weather and alerts for to Storms, Fire Warnings and Winter Storms and you can have it start up when you restart your computer and set it not to start.
Cons: There are no cons that I can see at all, I have used it every day, no problems at all
