"Sometimes updating is not the best."
Pros: The Weather Channel Desktop is OK!
Cons: I could do without all the features that was added. I don't need pictures when I just want to see a map of the weather. The add ons are not that interesting to me.

"I liked the old version better"
Pros: I like the icon in the toolbar which makes it handy. The weather alerts are necessary for tornadoes. The radar shows what is coming.
Cons: This version has too much garbage getting in the way of the weather info. I liked the old version better. I didn't like the way the old version would stop working or disappear for no reason, tho.

"could not install. It could not connect with the server"
Pros: I cannot say. For three days tried to install it. It never could connect with the server.
Cons: I used to have the old version so when it came to install the upgrade it blew out the computer. It took two days to get the computer up and running

Pros: Was accurate.
Cons: Looks quite messy and the adverts make it look bad. If you have Vista use the sidebar gadget or use the Yahoo Sidebar weather gadget!
