Publisher's description
From AnswersThatWork :This is the most complete and most effective PC tuning program ever written. A task, services, and startups manager which, thanks to included recommendations on about every Windows background task, empowers any user to streamline and configure their PC for speed and, above all, long term stability. This is also an absolutely essential tool for troubleshooting nagging and frustrating problems. As for network specialists, TUT also includes a regular housekeeping, ping, trace route, name server lookup, and WHOIS utilities to troubleshoot network problems. Version 2.80 TUT now has a new tuning screen which enables the user to tweak and tune Windows exactly how he likes it. Through this screen the user can modify the behavior of Windows in a way that one cannot normally do by default.

Version: The Ultimate Troubleshooter 2.80
"TUT has helped me fine tune my system into a fast and reliable machine!"
Pros: It's like having your own technician installed inside the system. Trying to sort out the Windows Task Manger and its applications and processes was like trying to read a foreign language. TUT identifies not only the usual generic tasks going on, but specific ones as well and even identifies their parent company and all relavant information about associated files to troubleshoot problems. TUT makes recommendations, and takes advantage of XP's System Restore function before taking any action. TUT looks out for malware and spyware type files and alerts you. TUT shows you all the startup programs when you bootup...stuff you didn't even know was there I bet...along with recommendations of what to do with some of it. There is so much more besides. It is well worth the money you pay for it.
Cons: The only down side if you could call it one, is this; some of the functions are more advanced and need to be studied before you use them. Don't be afraid! Knowledge is power and TUT gives it to you in spades!
