Twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have parlayed their blond brand into considerable power and influence in Hollywood. This screensaver offers about 20 images of the young actresses, although the quality of the images is often marred by JPEG overcompression. The software offers a fairly extensive feature set, allowing users control over transition effects, image size, background, and the interval between images. A few special effects such as sepia tone are included, although no soundtrack is provided. Any image can be used as wallpaper on a computer's desktop, and users can leave a virtual sticky note on the screen while the program is running. The screensaver does come bundled with a separate Internet Explorer toolbar, so be cautious if you don't want this extra component on your machine. Fans of the twins may find this an appealing download, but other computer users are likely to look elsewhere.
