This program lets you get up close and personal with Africa's most well-known native animals, although we wish the trial period were longer. Shot in Botswana's Okavango Delta, this screensaver has quality pictures of all the creatures you might expect, including giraffes, elephants, lions, and gazelles. Although you will find a box for muting the sound, no audio is available even when you leave it unchecked. You'll find such options as a library of transition effects, a tool for configuring the delay between pictures, and the ability to view shots in black-and-white mode. However, the downloadable file seems a bit too large for a screensaver, and the trial period is a short three days. In spite of those negatives, wildlife fans might at least test The Okavango.
