Has over 3000 pre-configured 'sources' already available, covering a range of topics. Such as News, Politics, TV, Weather, Traffic, Stocks and Shares, Travel, Entertainment, Sports (including Football, Motor-racing, Rugby, NFL, NHL, NBA, WNBA), Health, Jokes, Trivia, Technology, Business and The Economy, US Local and State News, and a number of respected publications and information resources. The program extracts text ('headlines'), associated links and speech bubble summaries with images where possible from Web pages then shows them on the desktop in either a scrolling ticker or a pop-up list. It also allows keyword filtering of the extracted headlines to include or exclude headlines based on their content; can automatically print changed pages or linked-to pages if required; can re-synchronize active sources with those on The Newwws Exchange - to update sources to latest versions; can preview your POP3 e-mails; can monitor and alert to changes in files and folders on disks. Use The Newwws as a ticker for news, new products, school alumni, stock prices, weather, software updates, lesson plans, house lettings, or anything.
