Publisher's description of The Endless Forest
From Tale of Tales BVBA:In an eternal forest on the Internet, you are a stag. So are the other players. Deer. All of you. And we, we say let there be light. And it was so. And we see that it is good. Come here. Hush now. Sleep. The Endless Forest is a social screensaver. An online multiplayer game where everyone plays a stag in an idyllic forest with no end. Play with your friends, roar a little, sleep a little, rub yourself against a tree. And suddenly, a miracle.

Version: The Endless Forest 2
"Not for everyone, but a real gem on its own!"
Pros: Great new kind of game.
Lots of little things to explore and do.
Clever game design, by forcing players to use deer body language to communicate.
Artistic concept and design, graphics and landscapes/locations are beautiful. Music and sound effects are good too.
If your into 'non-games' this will be your cup of tea. This is also a non-violent game with no talking/chatting so its perfect for all ages.
Magic system makes socializing with other deer more fun.
Frequent events with the 'twin gods' are always interesting.
Cons: Not for everyone. May get boring for some real fast.
No quests, goals, getting stronger, or competition, and no written language. lol
Still on-going/in-developement, so it has plenty it can improve on.
If you were looking for something different you probably wont enjoy this game.

Version: The Endless Forest 2
"Excellent, fantastic, best game I've ever played"
Pros: This game is indescribably wonderful. You register an adorable fawn and you play and turn into a majestic stag. You can cast spells, swim, and turn others into animals like frogs, birds and squirrels. There are many landmarks like moss-covered statutes, a waterfall, and a pond. You gallop and run in an endless forest. You can roar, rub against a tree, rear on your hind legs, eat, drink, dance, and get new antlers, pelts and masks. You can wear flowers on your head. You can meet other deer in the forest and to communicate with them you can: shake your head yes, shake your head no, roll on the ground laughing, lower your head in anger, bow in respect, greetings, thanks or farewell, or hang your head in sadness. You can line dance, play Marco Polo (with roaring), play tag, and play hide and seek. You can jump on and off of big rocks, lie down and hide in tall grass, and hide in the middle of a huge tree. The graphics are AMAZING and the sound is beautiful and relaxing. And there is so much more...

Version: The Endless Forest 2
Pros: I love the behavior options, I feel as if Im getting a chance to be an animal interacting with my own kind. I love this game wish there were more like this!
Cons: The only problem I have is with the confusing download and such. I have no complaints on the gameplay or anything inside the game! Its so much fun!!!
I like how you cant chat it keeps the ugly users from speaking. Sometimes I wish you could chat ^^Summary: There is hardly to any lag when I played and that is a plus. However everyone around me lagged (SOMETIMES rarely did) so it confused me sometimes.Like if they were seeing the same thing on there screen that I was seeing on mine. Was I next to them o... read more >>
