CNET Editors' review
Although it only works with an Internet Explorer browser, this simple toolbar provides quick access to Web links, weather information, and more. Techedgeindia ToolBar has the common features found in similar applications, including a search field, pop-up blocker, and e-mail notifier. It provides quick links to predefined sites for an encyclopedia, several dictionaries, shopping, blogs, and forums.
It also has an up-to-date weather tool that provides forecasts for different locations around the world. Techedgeindia ToolBar also includes an effective history, cookie, and cache cleaner to keep your online activity private. Unfortunately, this program failed to install in other Web browsers aside from Internet Explorer.
Although it duplicates the functionality that's standard to most browsers, the Technedgeindia ToolBar works well and is offered at no cost.
