This FTP client makes up for its lack of advanced features with a stylish and easy-to-use interface. If you need SSL or scripting, stop reading; Tango FTP doesn't have them. Nor can it schedule transfers or resume broken downloads. It can, however, store settings for multiple FTP servers. There's also a Snapshot feature, which lets users create shortcuts to frequently visited folders. The gorgeous Windows XP-theme interface is the program's most impressive feature. It's also probably responsible for the program's mammoth 18MB memory footprint. However, Tango FTP is designed for ease of use, not performance. Fittingly, the online help is extensive and well written. Hackers will turn up their noses, but Tango FTP is a more-than-adequate FTP program for beginners.

Tango FTP is an FTP client with features such as account and snapshot management. Once you've saved an account's settings and assigned a nickname, the information is saved in the Favorites menu. Within each account you can save unlimited local and server Snapshot views, which are listed as subheadings under each account so you can easily access your most frequently visited directories with a single click. The Tango FTP Tool Bar has a Web browser with Back, Forward, and Refresh buttons for easy navigation and an address field so you always know where you are.
Version 1.0 build 136 fixes a bug that affected connections to older, non-Unix servers.

Pros
I love this FTP Client! These guys are producing some cool stuff in .Net - I found TANGO FTP after downloading their FREE TANGO DROPBOX - Cannot say enough about using these two products together
Cons
The only con is if you are lagging behind the times and refuse to upgrade your OS with the latest .Net framework!

Summary
My fifteen day trial is up today so I'm buying this ap. I can't imagine going back to Cute - this is so much easier to use, nicer to look at and I am addicted to the snapshot bookmarks. Why hasn't anyone else done this? Seems like a no brainer...

I love this FTP Client and have ditched ws_ftp for Tango. I have had zero problems - maybe the guy who is trying to PIRATE would not have a problem if he bought it.

Summary
I have ever installed this software or anything made by the company. As soon as I install the TANGO FTP, it expires. So if I want to "try", I have to buy. Is is some kind of joke???? Don't waste your time. Very Disappointed!!!
