This software alarm clock earns big points for its extensive features and flexibility. Talking Time Keeper lets you schedule alarms, set timers, and check world times. You'll find three default voices--one male and two female--all of which have British accents. If accents are not your cup of tea, you can download more voices or create your own with a built-in editor. The program's real strength lies in its extensive alarm features. You can do everything from setting picture alarms with MP3 audio to scheduling programs to launch. The program even includes an interactive global day-and-night map, with accurate sunrise and sunset times. The main-menu interface is compact, intuitive, and supports skins for greater customization. In the final analysis, we think Talking Time Keeper is a great download for anyone looking for a time manager with a human touch.Publisher's description
From Mark Judge :Talking Time Keeper is an all-round desktop time package. Features include the ability to announce the time using built-in voices (either at the click of a button or at specified intervals), chimes, alarms, and timers (which can display messages and pictures, run programs, speak, and play sounds and MP3s, all with a snooze option), a calendar with labeled upcoming alarms, more than 250 world time locations (editable), a day and night world map, phases of the moon, stop watches with lap timers, and atomic time synchronization via the Internet. Also included is an easy-to-use voice-building tool, so to make your own voices for Talking Time Keeper all you need is a microphone. More downloadable voices also are available for free. Everything is presented in a state-of-the-art animated interface using time-lapse photography of the sky. The interface is easy to use and totally configurable. You can decide exactly what is heard or displayed and even add a personal touch by displaying a photo.
