This handy application let you create shortcuts for easy access to your applications, folders, and files. Tab BarLaunch adds an additional tabbed toolbar preloaded with your default browser and text editor. Adding an item to the toolbar is easy, just select the target object and drag and drop it directly to the toolbar. You can modify the toolbar's appearance and position it anywhere on your screen. It has an autohide feature that minimizes the application to your system tray when it's inactive. You won't need to install this freeware program, just run its executable file. There's no Help file offered, and while the program is fairly easy to use, it doesn't provide enough guidance for the novice user. More advanced users will appreciate all this program offers, especially since it's offered free of charge.Publisher's description

Version: Tab BarLaunch 1.42
Pros: Much better than Windows' default Start Button and Quick Launch when there are many programs to look for.
Grouped programs into tabs, easy and quick to launch.
Cons: Try it yourself with a right-click to learn the features...thought not too bad. Much better if help on some features is provided.

"A good alternative to overcrowded desktop"
Pros: Easily installed & configured, and intuitive. You can fill it with as much icon/link as you want and classify them within tabs that you create and name too (ex: music - applications - newspapers - etc... ). You can have this program hidden on either side of the screen, so you don't see it when you do not need it. It can disappear as soon as you hit an icon/link so only the launched application will fill the screen. I just love it.
Cons: No real cons (after 4 weeks in use).
