From Ilient :SysAid is software for organizations' IT (Information Technology) departments. It provides asset management and monitoring, automatically scanning the organization's network, listing and testing its machines. SysAid Help Desk Software provides details on each machine (its hardware, software, history, and more), allows you to configure different tests for it and lets you remote control it. SysAid also provides help desk. Version 4.03 adds a new module - SysAid Monitoring Module.

Version: SysAid Help Desk and Inventory 4.03
"Solid program for any IT manager"
Pros: I like this program. Offers a lot of great features and is definately useful. I like the fact that it maps your network and offers remote assisstance to end users.
Cons: This program can sometimes be confusing, but the FAQ is really godd and the tech support is especially helpful.

"Excellent Product, Cut our IT staff response time tremendously!"
Pros: Ability To track IT response time, where you are going and how much your going there, Fully customizable reports including response time and how many SR's are applied per the administrator!
Cons: The only con that we have encountered so far is that the ease of use is a little higher than some simpler programs however, for the time and money it is more of a robust program. Besides if you are in the IT field you should understand this program with no problem!

"Penny wise, but NOT pound foulish"
Pros: Great help for ICT department. Free for small organizations. We needed more users and admins plus the project management tool. Works perfect, choose your own language. International support by email works perfectly.
Cons: Just reporting of calls and project tasks could be better. But if you install on SQL database, you can use the ODBC driver with Excel/Crystal/etc.

"An inexpensive, highly outstanding help desk tool."
Pros: Price, superior suppport, reporting and documentation features.
Cons: Requires a lot of configuring and setup.

Pros: 1.- All in one helpdesk, inventory, remote management tool. Perfect for companies of any size and geographical distribution.
2.- although is a free product for companies below 100 resources, the helpdesk and support is great. We have the free version and one time we asked for a MacOS version of the inventory tool and the gave us the solution in 2 days.
Cons: 1.- Cant use remote control tool in linux desktop
2.- interface could be a little cleaner
