i didnt use it so none.

came out of nowhere and installed itself into my computer when i download a freewire hjsplit. It added alot of crap like search bar on IE and changes your homepage.

Exploits/hacks MSN bugs to send FALSE updates to advertise their products. (adware)
They give you a keylogger (hacked friend)
And sends and advertises (more adware) sweetIm through the hacked friends account.Summary

Locked up Internet Explorer...haven't gotten it working yet.

THis thing locked up Internet Explorer.
This also installed without my knowledge or consent "Macrogaming SweetIM" which shows up separately.
Very hard to delete & restore my system. I've spent an hour or two on this already. So far I have NOT gotten IE to work again & vestiges of this nightmare keep showing up, even after deleting everything I've found.
Advanced System Care also noted it is bad & showed it as spyware.
Usually when I run ASC, when is runs "Diagnose System" it shows "Security Defense" as NO PROBLEMS. After I installed this SweetIM!!! it showed: "Security Defense" as "4810 problems" & it was clean after I had ASC delete this program, showing "no problems" again.

Summary
In Add/Remove programs no removal program shows up.
If this program is not spyware it is an open door for it. I uninstalled it and deleted everything I could find. I get my browser redirected to a google looking SweetIM page. THIS PROGRAM IS TROUBLE.. Items remain in Add/Remove programs with no option to remove those.
It put tool bars on my browsers when I unchecked that .
Greatly slowed down my laptop. If I do not find a way to remove it I may be forced to use System restore and start over.

Updated on Feb 17, 2009I should also note. when I block SWEETIM domain names they are removed from block list the next time I reboot. Those of you that think the cute emoticons are wonderful should guess again. You also probably will not have a working computer in time with this gateway to spyware. Someone who knows how to do it should get CNET to remove it. Never add any emoticons you see in advertisements. -

There isn't any "Pros" to this program. It's stupid beyond belief.

Ruined many programs/flies that were running when I installed SweetIM.
Summary
Those who say this add-on is "Great" OBVIOUSLY don't use their computers to do any actual WORK. SweetIM corrupted PhotoShop.exe and installed meta-tags in the HTML files I had been working on. I had to uninstall PhotoShop because the whole computer would hang. I looked at the system files and they were altered the same time I installed SweetIM!
I'm having trouble re-installing PhotoShop and McAfee won't initiate.
I installed SweetIM from their main page. I'm very suspicious of the company and those who say this program is perfectly "safe."
Send me a check for the time lost and damage done to my system. -

I was told to download this by a friend, and when i scanned with my anti virus, i found a ton of viruses from sweetIM, i almost had to refomat, luckily i was able to remove the viruses, what ever you do, DONT DOWNLOAD THIS!

But, I"musing it any more. Some security applications identify it as a "potentially unwanted program' or as "containing spyware traces". I don't believe it because I never had any issues at all. It does work with "Vista" regardless of the fact it doesn't say so here. When I found the website that has all the free winks for "Windows Live IM" it just became a program that wasn't no longer necessary to me.
