Street Fighter offers a desktop version of the arcade fighting game. While it looks exactly like the popular game, its lack of direction and its inability to live up to its description makes this program stall out.
The program's interface left a lot to be desired. We appreciated that the game looked exactly like the arcade version, with cartoonish characters beating on one another, but its lack of a Help file was a huge hurdle. We had to take a lot of time to discover which keyboard buttons controlled kicking, punching, and jumping. Once we figured that angle out, the game was much easier. However, we again wished it had a Help file because the game allowed us to be only a single character, even though the description boasted the capability to unlock eight characters and bosses. The program offered absolutely no special features, which was a shame. We never got a good feel for the game, because we kept feeling like we were missing something, be it a specific control or the capability to choose players. We did not enjoy this throwback arcade experience.
Street Fighter is a freeware program. The program installs desktop icons without permission. While it looked just like the old game, this Street Fighter's lack of direction made it unappealing, and we do not recommend it.

Pros: You can upscale to your desktop resolution!
Cons: the game can slow up sometimes, because you can only run the game in only maximized window.
The control interface is too simple and takes too much of the challenge out of the game. needs to be made for a PC controller - this is SF 2 after all.Summary: This game is okay, but not great.
