Version: Steel Warrior 7
Pros: The menu screen tells you if the server is online or offline.
Cons: The server has not been online one time. I have been trying to get online for four days! I hate doing reviews where I can't review the game...however if the game isn't online/playable you should know.

Version: Steel Warrior 7
Pros: First of all you don't need a fast computer to play this, mine is:
Intel Pentium II Processor 400mhz
128MB RAM
8MB Video Card with DirectX 9.0.
Well anyway down to the game, great graphics, great music, great community, good choice of classes, 5 character slots, great choice of weapons and armor, great magic, maps look fantastic, you get to buy your own house (which you can make), can buy your own guild, can buy your own guild bases (I think you can make these too), easy to use, barely anyone is nasty to newbies, there isn't a language filter so your text doesn't get messed up (that doesn't mean that there isn't a language and being horrible to people rule), if someone player kills you, you lose no items or equipment, all round great game, my verdict 92%
Cons: There can be some bad apples but they get dealt with easily, after lvl 10 anyone can kill you in non safe zones (thats a very large amount of maps but dont worry not many people player kill), the server has undergone many changes recently so the server can be down often but it is getting back to being on very often.

Version: Steel Warrior 7
"Solid game, still has the potential to be great"
Pros: - Friendly community (a few trolls but that's to be expected). Most of the players are respectful and willing to help new guys out.
- Quick acting mods. I am grateful for this because I have played games where mods blatantly ignore those who need help and don't deal with trolls accordingly. The mods in this game do a good job and are very respectful for the most part.
- Interesting gameplay with 6 classes from which to choose and a regulated PVP system (though by "regulated" some might mean "limited", it's all a matter of perception)
- Good variety of equipment with more to come.
Cons: - Game under development (and developing rather slowly I might add). It is run by a very small group so progression is at a minimum. This means that we must wait a good while for the features we want (new weapons, new maps, additional modes of transportation, new spells, etc.)
- The game is offline at times. As previously stated, it is run by a very small group, thus the game's online/offline status is not desireably consistant. Still, you should be able to find time to play (there are still people on this game who devote an average of 15 hrs or more per week to the game).
- The game right now is somewhat linear. For a good while, the only thing you will be able to do is level grind and socialize online while you do so. A quest system has yet to be incorporated (hopefully it will be soon). Though contests are held sometimes and guild wars occur from time to time as well. It may or may not be enough to hold your interest, try it out and see.
Final Verdict: If you are a hardcore MMORPGer, this game may or may not float your boat. Though if you are just looking for something fun that can kill a couple of hours here and there, this game may be your calling.
