Defeat rebel forces in a galaxy far, far away with this strategy game, which has a wide array of controls that take time to learn. The vast majority of folks will need maneuvering through the game, so looking at the help file is essential. You are sent on a mission against the rebel alliance, where you must set up a base camp and infiltrate the enemy s camp. You control the troop and vehicle movement, but combat is automated. The sound effects are wonderful, but the graphics are not as good as you would expect from LucasArts. The download file is huge, so make full use of the trial, which allows you to play just one of the 25 missions available in the full version. Despite its drawbacks, Star Wars fans and intermediate-level gamers who like third-person views should enjoy Star Wars: Force Commander.Publisher's description
From LucasArts Entertainment :Prepare for ground assault. If you have what it takes to command a battalion of AT-ATs, or to defend the Rebel stronghold at Hoth, then prove it in Star Wars: Force Commander, an intense real-time ground combat experience like no other. As you weave through the epic story line, lead both the Empire's monolithic military might and the ragtag-yet-resourceful Rebels. Keep your war machine humming in singleplayer and multiplayer modes. The ultrarealistic 3D terrain and vehicles give you the power to guide your troops to victory. This is war. This is Force Commander.

"Virus infected Trash (sorry lucas arts)"
Cons: I could never get the game to start. On occasion my screen would completely deform to to an error in the video card. If you have windos XP like i do i recomend you stay away from this game.

Version: Star Wars: Force Commander demo
Pros: It looks like it could be a lot of fun.
Cons: The controls aren't always that intuitive and it can be a little confusing at first without a tutorial, but I'm still getting the hang of it. I also had to change my resolution to a much lower setting just to get it to run.
