Star SysLog Daemon is a syslog receiver. It can receive, log, display and forward Syslog messages from all syslog enabled device such as router, firewall or switch. It can monitor and filter received syslog messages and send out alert message by Email, SMS, Sound and Syslog. Star SysLog Daemon is based on Internet standard protocol, which is specified by RFC 3164. Version 1.5.1 enhances the host information on received syslog message.
