From CommuniGate Systems:

The CommuniGate communication module supporting E-mail message transfer using the POPInternet protocol (RFC1725) via TCP/IP networks. For each registered CommuniGate user, POP can retrieve messages from several remote mailboxes. POP can retrieve mail for your entire domain using so-called "Unified Domain-wide accounts" and distribute it. The POP module can operate as a POP3 server, providing access to CommuniGate user mailboxes for remote users. It can also provide Unified-Domain wide accounts.
