For each hand, bid on the tricks you and your partner will take. You must take at least that many tricks in order to score 10 points for each, and 1 additional point for every extra trick taken. The high card takes each trick, except that spades always beat other suits. But, spades can only start off a trick once they have already been used in a previous trick.
