Removing rootkits without compromising system integrity is particularly challenging and needs to be done with care.

"A backup tool, not meant for standalone application"

Pros
Has caught quite a few bugs the big names like MBAM, Ad-Aware, AVG etc have not been able to. I consider it pretty powerful given the way it handles some bugs that bigger name tools cant get. Also if you get a virus that target disables protection software, Sophos usually survives this.
Cons
Not a standalone package, needs to be run seldomly
Summary
great for what it is, don't get caught without this in your emergency computer cure kit, it might be the solution!
